Chapter Name: Eta Psi

Our chapter has done some wonderful things. Besides having a strong academic record, our chapter has been undergoing a tremendous reorganization. Over the past few years, the Eta Psi chapter has been defunct. We have worked to reorganize just about everything. We re-shuffled our executive board, adding a Community Service Chairperson. We organized our application, selection, initiation, and elections process. Instead of making everything take place on the same day, as it has historically taken place, we are working to stretch it out and increasing our selectivity.
Also, we are planning The Order of Omega Brain Bowl. This will be a scholastic/academic competition between the Greek community and the Student organizations. We are inviting 5 fraternities, 5 sororities, and 10 student organizations to nominate one number to participate in an academic competition. Each Greek-letter organization will be represented by their Order of Omega member. The questions will be taken from the popular TV show, “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?” There will be food, door prizes, and trophies for the winning organization. We are advertising it as “Are you smarter than a Temple Greek?” Also, we are in the midst of putting together a newsletter that will be distributed to each chapter, administration, our parents, and throughout campus. We are also planning to hold an All-Greek Speed Dating event, a Meet the Order of Omega orientation, as well as several bake sales and community service events in the Spring semester. The future looks bright and we plan on sustaining our success over the next several years.
